Starting from the Manifesto of SIM, summarized in the claim Working together for a better marketing, the Italian Journal of Marketing is proud to announce the launch of the “Italian Journal of Marketing – The Blog.” A platform where scholars and managers share their vision of marketing, identifying meaningful pathways that address present and future challenges for the discipline and its practice.
The Italian Journal of Marketing – The Blog aims to expand the reach of published articles by engaging readers from diverse backgrounds who share a common interest: staying informed about the latest developments in marketing research to uncover new solutions or opportunities in today’s highly volatile environment.
Its primary objectives are:
- Establishing a connection between cutting-edge marketing research and stakeholders who, in various roles, can benefit from the insights of rigorous studies;
- Creating a forum for dialogue and exchange between academics and business leaders to identify shared paths for the development of both theory and practice;
- Providing curious individuals and young professionals with the tools to understand how to approach the world of research and conduct studies that can be published in international journals such as the ITJM.
Italian Journal of Marketing – The Blog:
A space for dialogue, discussion, and growth.
The Blog will be structured around four primary content categories:
- Research in Action: Three questions posed to authors of the latest research published by ITJM, aimed at understanding how to translate their findings into actionable practices for businesses;
- Coffee Break: A meeting space for scholars from the ITJM community and managers from various industries to discuss published studies;
- Writing Tips: Advice and suggestions from the ITJM Editorial Board and Distinguished Scholars on designing, conducting, and writing scientific research for submission to high-quality academic journals;
- Letters from the Editorial Board: Open letters or white papers authored by the Editorial Board to reflect on varied topics of interest to the society.
We invite you to enjoy the content and share comments, suggestions, and, why not, even criticism by writing to itjm@simktg.it.
